Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Assuming the radiation pattern of the antenna unit with reflector is the powers of a cosine function, the horizontal radiation patterns of the circular array for UHF TV omnidirectional transmitting antenna installed on a large tower are analyzed in order to minimize the maximum deviation from the circularity reference. Under the conditions that the array radii in wavelength were about 8.4 and 9.6, we examined using the half scale model antenna system. The measured results of the maximal deviation values of the radiation patterns nearly agree with the calculated values.
