Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A Fuse is used in order to protect the electronic circuits from denger conditons of circuits generated when abnormal currents flows. Circuit breakers are used for the same purpose but more expensive and bigger than fuses, so fuses are used in many electronic equipments. Specificatin of Fusing time is regulated in JIS. Until now, fuses are discussed from the viewpoint of fusing time andarc-suppressing but not discussed about arc generating phenomena. Actually after a fuse breaks, arc-discharge occurs, current flows and larrge voltage fluctuation that may interfere the operation of circuits occurs. This paper discusses the generation mechanism of noise generated when fuses break and the influence of fusing on electronic equipments including fuses. It is suggested that we must pay attenrtion to that are not regurlated by JIS when we use fuses too.
