Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In recent years there has been considerable attentions concerning emissions from Video display terminals (VDTs). The VDTs which contains a cathode ray tube (CRT), by the nature of its operation, has associated very low frequency magnetic and electric and also electrostatic field. Most of us sit close or closer to our VDTs, thus we have concern that the very low frequency emissions are hazardous to our health. This paper describe the measurements results of electric and magnetic fields from VDTs on the basis of procedures of IEEE EMC Standard 1140 1994.
