Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Radiated emission (RE) characteristics from 4-layer printed circuit boards (PCBs) with a power system composed of a power plane and a ground plane is described. The PCBs have circuits composed of oscillators, ICs, traces and terminal resistors. Time domain magnetic fields near the PCBs have been evaluated, in order to analyze the sources responsible for the RE, and the result indicated that the main source exists in the power system. When the power plane and the ground plane are regarded as a parallel plate transmission line, the transmission characteristics have similar frequency characteristics to the RE spectrum.
