Abstract(in English) An effect of PCB's ground pattern on the radiated emission has been investigated with regard to the parallel trace lines, microstrip line and coplanar line. It is found that an enough low impedance ground pattern on the PCB cannot provide a sufficient return path for the common-mode current if it has only a high impedance point partially; i.e. connection-part, etc. In such a situation, the low impedance ground pattern cannot reduce the emission, but it could happen to increase the emission.
