Abstract(in English) | Electromagnetic fields due to low-voltage electrostatic discharge (ESD) sometime gives a fatal shock to digital information equipment. This peculiar properties can qualitatively be shown by our dipole model with a spark current previously proposed, whereas the model cannot explain any effects of the conductor on the occurrence field level. This paper proposes a new ESD source model for predicting the transient field level caused by the spark of charged spherical conductors, which is also validated from the waveform measurement of the magnetic field. |
