Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) For precision improvement of near-field antenna measurements, we study about the scattering of electric field by the probe antenna. As probe for the near-field antenna measurements, open-ended waveguide is generally utilized. The wall width of the waveguide is not far smaller than wavelength at relatively high frequency bands. Radar Cross Section of the probe tip that has knife edge is numerically evaluated by moment method. The RCS is under the influence of taper angle to the edge. Characteristics of scattering from knife edge of probe tip at high frequency bands are confirmed as preliminary examination for future quantitative analysis.
