Abstract(in English) An experimental study has been carried out for the frequency characteristics of electromagnetic noise caused from arc discharge between opening carbon and copper electrodes, and the frequency range was from 7MHz to 1GHz. The electromagnetic noise in the case of copper cathode spread over broader frequency range. In the opposite case, the noise level was larger in the low frequency range. Adding an inductance, the noise level increased in the broad band frequency range and the quasi-peak in the case of copper cathode increased more than that in the oppsite case.
