Abstract(in English) | As an elementary study to design the electronic devices satisfying EMC-regulation, the prediction on noise reduction effect of ferrite beads on electromagnetic interfernece (EMI) is studied. In this report, electromagnetic emission from a power-line on a digital printed circuit board (PCB) is investigated. To predict noise reduction effect of ferrite beads, the resonance characteristics of a digital circuit are calculated using a RF equivalent model. Predicted results are compared with measured results. In the frequency region beyond 40 MHz, predicted noise reduction effect is in good agreement with measured results within the error of 4 dB. |
