Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Normalized site attenuation (NSA) obtained with a pair of log-periodic dipole array antennas (LPDA) is theoretically investigated using the moment method. It is found that radiation patterns and changes in the position of active antenna elements are key factors to the difference in NSA between measurement values with LPDA and the specified values in CISPR 16. NSA values for two types of typical LPDA available in the market were calculated using moment method. The results show that calculated values differ from the specified values by more than 2dB. However, it is concluded that correction factor of the NSA in the case of LPDA can be evaluated by considering the effects of above two key factors.
