| 抄録(和) | ストックホルム市とその周辺において1960-85年の診断をうけた小児を対象にして行われたスウェーデンの疫学研究(カロリンスカ論文)は, 「送電線磁場と小児白血病とは関連する」との結論を示した. われわれは, その層別化データを利用して考察し, 次のことを知った. 1960-74年にはス市内外ともに, 送電線磁場と関連する患者はなかったこと. 1975-85年には, そのような患者がス市外に発生したこと. すなわち関連は特定の時期, 特定の地域に限ってみられた. しかし全時期, 全地域に対して一致した関連がみられない(HillのConsistencyの条件を満足しない)ことから, この関連は因果関係ではない. したがって, 「およそ送電線磁場と小児白血病とは関連する」と述べることは正しくないと判断できる. |
| 抄録(英) | The Swedish investigation of epidemiology, which has been carried out on cancers in children residing near high-voltage power lines in and around Stockholm County during 1960-1985, shows us the conclusion that there is significant association between the historical magnetic fields calculated and childhood cancer. Employing its data of the stratum-specific analyses, we can find out the following facts on cases associated with the magnetic fields: none in children diagonosed 1960-74 in and arround Stockholm County; ones, diagonosed 1975-85 only arround its County. They show that the association is not consistent in the periods and areas considered. Therefore, the association is not a causal relation, and the conclution which suggests that the same association is to be observed everywhere is not valid . |
