Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Sealing characteristics of helical heater terminal used in microwave oven is investigated. Helical heater inserted in tubular conductor can be represented by an equivalent circuit as well as a transmission line. Relation between parameters of the circuit and geometrical dimensions of the helical heater is analytically shown, and its sealing characteristics is analyzed. Further, the helical heater terminal is optimally designed at the operating frequency of 2450MHz. As a result, it is found that the sealing characteristics less than -23dB can be obtained at the frequency of 2450MHz.
