Abstract(in English) This paper describes the evaluation results for the interference characteristics of 2.4 GHz ISM band wireless LAN using the Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum. The interference characteristics of the wireless LAN systems, which have different modulation parameters, were measured by throughput and BER. As a result, the throughput of the wireless LAN systems, constructed with the wireless LANs employing the different modulation parameters, is better than that of the wireless LAN systems constructed with the wireless LANs employing the same modulation parameters when the D/U ratio is above 15 dB Moreover, the interference characteristics between the wireless LAN systems having the same bandwidth and randomness can be evaluated by the experimental system that uses Gaussian noise as an interference source.
