Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This study explored the verbal coding in adult subjects' problem solving activities using Tower of London Task. The effect of articulatory suppression, verbal second task. was examined on the planning and moving performance of the task. The articulatory suppression caused no negative effect on planning time while the number of moves to the goal state have the effect on it. The results suggest that verbal encoding is not crucial to the task.
