Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | We propose a method to input Chinese sentences into a mobile terminal. A user is able to input rapidly and easily because the user is able to input one Pinyin character per one keystroke in our proposed method. Some Pinyin characters are assigned to each numerical key on a mobile terminal. Therefore, the number string inputted by the user corresponds to many Chinese sentences and is ambiguous. However, our proposed method disambiguates the number string by Inductive Learning and is able to translate the number string into the Chinese sentence intended by the user. It is proved that our proposed method is effective for Chinese since the translation accuracy is about 65[%] in the result of the evaluation experiment. |
