Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The authors have been studying computer understanding of natural language. At present, we are engaged in constructing the integrated multimedia understanding system IMAGES-M employing the media-free knowledge representation (i. e. locus formulas) based on MIDST (Mental Image Directed Semantic Theory). This paper describes the Motion Picture Processing Department of IMAGES-M, and one of its functions, namely, intermedia translation from data gained by a motion capture system into texts via locus formulas.
