| 抄録(和) | 単語の理解や生成は、出現頻度、親密度、心像性(心的イメージの想起しやすさ)などの単語属性の影響を受ける。中でも心像性は意味と関係が深く、言語の正常機能や加齢、脳損傷等の影響における意味の役割を調べるのに重要である。日本語の大規模心像性データベースを作成するため、若年者を対象に、心像性に関して文字呈示約5万語と音声呈示約4万語の7段階評定実験を行った。文字呈示と音声呈示の評定値の相関係数は約0.9と非常に高かった。親密度と心像性の相関係数も約0.7～0.8と高かったが、親密度が高くなるほど心像性の幅が広がり、親密度が高くても心像性の低い語(例、経済)であった。両者は異なる単語属性であることが示唆された。 |
| 抄録(英) | Comprehension and production of spoken and written words are affected by various word attributes such as word frequcy, familiarity, and imageability(subjective ratings of the ease eith which the referent of a word evokes its mental image). This study intends to rate imageability for a large number of aurally and visually presented Japanese words. The correlation coefficient between visual and auditory ratings is very high(r=.9), and these imageability ratings are highly correlated with the familiarity ratings(r=.7-.8). Despite the high correlation between familiarity and imageability, there are a considerable number of words with high-familiarity and low-imageability score such as "経済"(economy)and those with low-familiarity and high-imageability score(e.g. , "巻尺", tape measure). These results suggest that imageability and familiarity may reflect different aspects of word attributes. |
