Abstract(in English) | Semantic annotation on linguistic data can be put into practical use, as they raise the quality of machine translation, information retrieval, summarization, presentation, and so forth. GDA is an initiative to develop and spread a linguistic tag set, thereby technically assist communications in the society, sot that a huge knowledge base should emerge. The GDA tag set has been designed to explicitly interpret the semantic structure of linguistic documents, and various application based on it are being developed. |
