Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper described co-occurrence relation between nouns and adjectives by using a concept dictionary based on association experiments. In this research, we designate the nouns as the stimulus words for conducting association experiments. During the process of making the concept dictionary, the distances between nouns and adjectives were calculated. By using the distances, we will try to extract the images associated with the nouns. The co-occurrence relation is again analyzed by focusing on the categorical relation between the nouns and adjectives. The association experiments were conducted to categorize the meaning of adjectives, and to investigate the way to associate them with the nouns. As the result of the analyses, co-occurrence relation between the nouns and adjectives was extracted quantitatively.
