Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Rhetorical patterns largely differ from country to country, and such differences can be seen in essays written based on them and in the contents of lectures that are given based on them. These patterns depend on the culture for each and every country, especially the character of the language, and on the difference in the educational systems. We investigate computer systemization based on the results of questionnaires (on how the contents and organization of essays seem to differ because of differences in the rhetorical patterns used in Japan, the U.S., and the U.K.), and propose a method of constructing systems that change the compositions of paragraphs considering differences in rhetorical patterns and that generate sentences which complement and explain the contents involved. |
