| 抄録(和) | 本研究では、オンラインの言語処理においてどのような情報がどの段階で使用されているかを検証する。今回は、統語解析における主題役割情報のみに議論を限定する。この種の情報が初期段階の統語解析を導くのか否かを検証するために、英語の袋小路文の言語処理過程を観察することを目的とした眼球運動実験を行った。実験で得られた結果から、有生性に基づく主題役割解釈の優先性が、即時に初期段階の統語分析に影響を及ぼすということを明らかにした。 |
| 抄録(英) | This work investigates what type of information is utilized at what stage of on-line language processing. We will restrict our discussion to the thematic role information in the syntactic parsing. In order to examine whether or not this type of information can guide the initial syntactic processing, we have conducted an eye movement experiment in which the aim is to observe language processing of the garden path sentences in English. The results in the experiment revealed that the animacy-based thematic role interpretation preference immediately exerts an influence on the initial syntactic analysis. |
