| Abstract(in English) | This paper describes a definition of difficulty of a question for a question and answer function in an intelligent support system for English learning. The system and a learner converse about the contents of English sentences by using the function. To realize the conversation, the system generates questions depending on both educational intentions and the learner's understanding state. For generating suitable questions for the learner automatically, we must investigate the factors which influence difficulty of a question, and prepare the mechanism to calculate the difficulty. We present a definition of the difficulty along with learners' answering flow. |
