Abstract(in English) | One of ultmate aims of computer science is to realize intelligent information processing systems with the same capabilities as humans, and a main reason of why humans have especially high quality of capabilities, e.g. for understanding and generating linguistic expressions, is that humans can acquire and utilize amounts of knowledge about events or phenomena happening inside or outside him/her as his/her experiences. Prom this point of view, we are investigating mental processes of natural languaue (a tool of thought), focussing mainly on methods for guessing meanings of new words (henceforth, unknown words). In this paper, meaning inferring system by analogy is proposed for unknown words of two kanji-characters on the basis of the findings of psychological experiments. |
