Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Information retrieval systems with capabilities that users can swiftly retrieve just what they want with no data loss are not yet realized, while information retrieval systems have been recently studied for the WWW (World-Wide Web) on the Internet. In this paper, a new model of information retrieval is at first presented so that information retrieval system with true intelligence can be implemented. The model has some facilities: dialogue in a written language (Japanese), Unknown word acquisition, Intention understanding, key concept retrieval and knowledge acquisition. An overview of a prototype of information retrieval system based on this model is also presented briefly.
