Abstract(in English) Thought disorder in schizophrenia is reviewed from clinical psychological, cognitive psychological, psychophysiological, brain dysfunctional, and pharmacotherapeutic viewpoints. In brief, pathogenesis of thought disorder in schizophrenia is conceptualized not as the disability in individual domain of information processing but as the dysfunction of modulatory and self-organizing system in the brain that enables effective integration of multiple domains of brain function according to the demand for information processing.
