Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Since the development of the METRIC[1], research on a multi-echelon repairable-item inventory system has proceeded steadily. In this paper we deal the case that there are only a finite number of items at each base in a multi-echelon repair system. By observing the number of operating items and using iterative scheme we proposed a new method to realize more fast and accurate approximation rather than those of method proposed until now. This model is a realistic model by taking transit times into consideration. In comparison with simulation result the algorithm is accurate and computationally easy.
