Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper treats an allocation problem of testing-effort in the software development project. This problem is important to the project manager because almost half of the development effort is expended in the testing phase. This paper is new in the respect where we take fault correction-effort into account explicitly in our model. We propose a model to expend testing-effort both in detecting and correcting faults. In this paper we formulate our model by applying a testing-effort dependent software reliability growth model and develop an efficient algorithm for it.
