Abstract(in English) Ag, Pd, Ag/CdO12wt%, Ag/SnO12wt%, Ag/Sn9.5wt% contacts mounted on a small electromagnetic relay are tested in a DC30V-10A resistive circuit as the make-only-contacts and the break-only-contacts. In this experience, we measured some electrical characteristics of make-only-contacts and break-only-contacts and observed the transferred pip on contact surfaces. The form of the pip depended on the contact material. Close relations among arc duration at make operation and number of bounces changed with the contact material. The sticking in Ag/CdO12wt% contacts and Ag/Sn9.5wt% contacts happened at make-only-operation.
