Abstract(in English) This paper presents a 500kW MF transmitter which can produce AM waves directly from digitized audio signals by combining the output of RF power module. The transmitter is composed of two 250kW transmitters which are operated in parallel. The 250kW transmitter consists of two 125kW transmitters with 124 switching-type RF power modules and one analog-type RF power module, an exciter/control module, a combiner and a band pass filter each. The transmitter displays exceptionally over-all efficiency of 80 %, SN ratio of 70dB or better, and 0.3 % total harmonic distortion at 80 % modulation.
