An Expression of Weibull Distribution by Expert Opinion

Abstract(in English) Recently,there are papers which discuss how to utilize expert opinion or informed judgement.The reasons are as follows;decrease of failure data because of reliability increasing of items, difficulties of life test because of large scale systems and so on. In this article,we present a new approach for an expression method of reliability function using the expert opinion.In particular,in order to introduce informed judgement or expert opinion into the analysis,the expert opinions are shaped up and then represented by their mean and variance.Here as the reliability function,we pick up a Weibull distribution and then in the case of the shape parameter β known,we discuss the expression of the Weibull distrib ution using expertises.Finally we show the usefulness of method proposed here by illustrating the analytical results of the failure data.
