Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Electric connectors for automobile have housing locking structure to avoid the disconnection of the electric contacts by vibration, and so on. The environment in the automobile tends to become more severe, as the performance and durability of automobile increases. In this condition, the connector housing quickly deteriorates. It is necessary to maintain the reliability for longer term than before, so that the locking structure does not break when disconnecting the connectors. In this paper, we estimate life of the locking structure, focusing on heat deterioration. Next, we determine the design standard of locking structure to guarantee the reliability on the market. Lastly, we determine the accelerated test conditions to evaluate the reliability of the locking structure .
