| 抄録(和) | 光コネクタの挿入損失は温度により変化する。この主要因はフェルール、エポキシ接着剤および光ファイバの温度膨張率差異により、温度変化に対応した圧縮応力が光ファイバに付加されるためである。圧縮応力は光ファイバのモードフイールド径を変化させ、光コネクタの挿入損失を変化させる。本論文では温度変化により光ファイバに付加される圧相応力の計算方法を提案し、温度サイクル試験結果により温度変化と光ファイバのモードフイールド半径の関係を考察した。 |
| 抄録(英) | The paper describes the temperature characteristics of optical connectors. The calculation methods of the compression stress forced on optical fiber sufface have been proposed, and the temperature cycle test results of optical connectors have been discussed. Insertion losses of optical connectors change with environment temperature, since connector components, such as ferrule, epoxy, and optical fiber, have different expansion ratio. When temperature changes, compression stress is forced on optical fiber. Lower the temperature becomes, bigger the compression stress becomes. |
