Applioation of Weibull distribution function to arc data measured on contacts switching at special time in a alternating circuit

Abstract(in English) Some electromagnetic relays have switched on and off a al ternating circuit under the AC3 class test in JIS C8325. Then, the switching arc arc distribution has been measured at each switching operation. On a case of relays which appeared the switching trouble the result of application of Weibull distribution function to data, the shape parameter of Weibull distribution function changes suddenly and the pattern of frequency histogram changes from single style to composite style.
