| Abstract(in English) | A learning algorithm is presented for nearest neighbor pattern classifiers with mixed training patterns whose category is known and those with unknown category.Each category has only one prototype which is optimally placed for the classification rate to be maximized.An unsupervised learning step is applied to the patterns with unknown category and a supervised algorithm is used for the patterns with known category.The classification rule includes rejection and generally outputs a fuzzy membership of test patterns. |
