| 抄録(和) | 硬貨を自動識別する機器は主に硬貨の大きさや重さ,材質などを用いて識別を行っているが,硬貨に類似した物質を誤認識してしまう場合がある。本研究では,画像処理的な手法のみを用いた硬貨の識別手法を提案し,基礎的な実験結果を示す。対象とする画像には様々な種類の硬貨が含まれており,イメージスキャナを用いて入力する。それぞれの硬貨の外周円の検出はハフ変換による円の検出手法を使用する。硬貨の画像は,まずその大きさと穴の有無により大分類される。次に硬貨の画像の回転を行いながら,辞書パターンとの類似度によるマッチングを行い,その硬貨の種別の識別を行う。実験結果として,硬貨の識別率は80%以上が得られ,また偽硬貨の棄却率は100%が得られた。 |
| 抄録(英) | In this report,a new method of automatic coin recognition using image processing technique is proposed and the results of its fundamental experiment are shown.An image containing various kinds of coins is inputted to the computer using an image scanner.The outline of each coin is detected using circle detection method by Hough transform.Each coin image is roughly classified by its size and hole.Rotating the coin by one degree around its center,pattern matching of the coin and the dictionary patterns is practiced to discriminate its kinds.As the experimental result,above 80% of recognition raito can be obtained,and the reject raito of imitation coins is 100%. |
