Abstract(in English) We propose the new adaptive threshold selection method for the image sequence binarization.It is based on the 3 dimensionally extended ″Mean Adjacent-Pixel Number″ applied to the spatio-tempo ral image volumes. Images often include blob-lile noises that appear and disappear suddenly.This method evaluates both spatial and temporal consistency of the interested objects area by the 3-D MAPN from binarized spatio-temporal image.So we can avoid the undesirable influence of such noises and can get robust binarized image sequence under the noisy outdoor environment. In this paper we first introduce the original MAPN method,and extend it into 3 dimensional version to apply the spatiotemporal image.Then we introduce the high speed calculation algorithm for the hardware application.Finally it is compared to some other methods.
