Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A new method for tracking of human face is described, which employs the memory-based approach for the arbitrary change of facial image due to its motion or expression. The facial region is detected using qualitative feature model, and its moved models are synthesized by texture mapping technique with 3-D model of face.We detect the moved face as the mostly corresponding region with these models, and accumulate detected images on the memory space. To delete some redundant images and use managed images as template, the efficient tracking is realized. Some experimental results are shown in the later of this paper.
