Abstract(in English) | It is necessary to construct a good user interface in order to implement a 3D CAD system by using Virtual Reality.In particular, force sensation is important for manipulating the objects.This paper describes a new approach of grasping an object.At first,we have proposed an input device(called PowerStick)with force feedback by using stepping motors.Second,we describe a fast method to determine if a point lies inside a polyhedron and experiments concerned with grasping an object. |
