Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We propose a ballon operator for extracting regions of constrained shape and orientation based on a generalized beam model. The operator maintains initial global shape and orientation while being inflated and makes local shape adjustments when encountering obstacle region. Small obstacle regions are eliminated. Ballon inflation terminates when shape deformation exceeds a preset limit or the balloon model becomes stationary. Complex regions are extracted by a combination of multiple balloons.
