| 抄録(和) | 本稿では,撮影距離や照明の影響をあまり受けない,直交変換法を用いた顔画像の個人識別手法を提案する.撮影距離の違いは目鼻の位置情報を用いて画像の大きさを正規化することにより補正し,その後の直交変換により照明の変化の影響を抑える.識別時に変換後の画像全体を用いる方法と,変換結果に重みづけを行い個人の顔の特徴を多く含むと予想される部分のみを用いる方法とを比較した.その結果,重みづけを行った方が識別率が高く,変換結果の非常に小さい範囲(2%-5%)を識別対象とするのが有効であった.直交変換では個人の特徴が非常に小さい範囲に集約され,その他の不要な情報の削除により識別率が向上したものと考える. |
| 抄録(英) | For face discrimination, a normalizing method which adjusts to the change of the brightness of illumination is needed. The orthogonal transform is suitable for extracting the characteristic parts of a human face. Moreover, it is not affected by the change of illumination. Here we applied some kinds of transforms to the human face image. Then we investigated to give certain weights to the transformed image to extract the individual characteristics clearly. As a result, the weightings was effective. In addition only very small part (2%-5%) of the transformed image were useful for human face discremination. |
