A Method of Segmentation of 3D Objects within a Same Class

Abstract(in English) In this report, we propose a method of segmentation of 3D objects within a same class. This segmentation is considered as segmenting a 3D object within a same class into parts with common constituent structure. First, in this method, possible constituent structures of an object are obtained by approximating its each part by superquadrics. From these constituent structures, a typical constituent structure of the class is derived. All objects within a same class are arranged to the typical constituent structure. We present experimental results of our method based on a set of real range data.
