| 抄録(和) | 画像中の人物の顔を検出する処理は,写真焼き付けの際の露光の自動設定や人物の計数,個人識別などにおいて重要である.本報告では,位置,大きさおよび回転角の不明な,人物の顔領域を静止階調画像中から高速に検出する一手法を提案する.本手法は,複数の顔画像から作成した標準顔をテンプレートとして用いたパターンマッチングに基づいている.探索領域が膨大になることを避けるため,遺伝的アルゴリズム(GA)を用いて顔領域の抽出を行なっている. |
| 抄録(英) | Positioning human facial regions in images can be utilized in various fields such as automatic control of exposure in photo printing process, counting and recognition of humans. We propose, therefore, a robust method to extract quickly facial regions in still gray images. In this paper, We assume that the directions of human faces in images are almost front and their total number, positions, sizes and rotational angles are unknown. This method is based on pattern matching using a standard facial image made from several facial images. To avoid the searching space becomes vast, we employ Genetic Algorithm; GA and extract potential regions for human faces. |
