Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a tap-position estimation scheme for sparse-tap adaptive filters utilizing multirate techniques. It is described that a lower rate adaptive filter is sufficiently to estimate tap-position of sparse-tap unknown impulse response. A multirate adaptive filter which running 1/D rates only requires short tap length 1/D comparison with non decimated case. Thus, the proposed estimation method requires only low arithmetic complexity. In addition, the proposed technique has guaranteed stability for a changing of tap-position.
