Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | The extraction of pitch frequencies of speech signals is one of the most important subjects in speech analysis and synthesis. In this work, we study a pitch extraction method using banks of bandpass filter pairs(BPFP)which have improved performance with respect to deviations from the pitch period, the disorder of waveforms with every pitch and addition of white noise, as compared with cepstrum and modified antocorrelation analysis, when these banks are rearranged at logarithmic intervals of the center frequency. The results of experiments show that the rearrangement of banks at logarithmic intervals is effctive in pitch extraction and U/V detection methods using BPFP and NN. |
