Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | In this paper, two ideas are discussed to enhance the Jacobian Adaptation(JA)of the HMMs for noisy speech recognition. The first one is to set up multiple initial-models to extend the coverage of JA with a single initial model which assumes acoustic conditions are similar berween the training and target environments. The second one is to extend the formulation of JA for such a case that the observed speech is distorted by not only the background noise but also the channel transfer function. Experimental results are shown for speaker-dependent isolated word recognition tasks. |
