Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have shown that it is possible to analyze and sinthesize singing voice useing the cepstrum method. However, this singing voice synthesis system is only what we add the singing voice's pitch to an ordinary speech synthesis system. Because the pitch pattern is expressed with straight line, the synthesized voice besomes an unnatural and mechanical sound. Therefore we are doing our resarch on how to synthesize better and high quality singing voice by taking parts of voice from the singing sound. We study to express pitch pattern with curved line and aim to make synthesized voice more natural and rich.
