Abstract(in English) An waveform measure for predicting deterioration in speech recognition accuracy under noisy condition is proposed. The measure does not use original, i.e., clean, speech and is applicable to various speech degrading conditions. The basic method of the measurement is to integrate the dynamic ranges of sub-bands by multiplying the predetermined recognition accuracy at the given dynamic range. The effectiveness of the measure is confirmed from a speaker-closed experiment, in which the predicted recognition accuracy is highly correlated with the experimental results.
