Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper is a message from an aural speech impaired person to the normal hearing engineers who cannot actually feel "I do not hear". There are many studies, observations and considerations concerning "Aural trouble" in the research area of "Voice" and "Aural". Most of them are done by the normal hearing researchers. The author feels that they stand on normal hearing listener's viewpoints which are pretty different from those of the aural speech impaired persons. However, it is difficult for the aural speech impaired persons to be involved in the works of speech processing researches, such as voice recognition and voice synthesis, etc. In some cases of the developments, the aural speech impaired persons are used as just testees. Currently, there is no product which uses the speech processing for the aural difficulty in speech. The author believes that such products can create a promising market in the near future.
