Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Previous paper has reported that the pitch tracking mechanism can be represented by a couple of second-order systems. However, it is difficult to consider that a single neural cell or a block of neural cells represents a pitch frequency by firing density. This paper proposes a frequency-modulated tone tracking mechanism on the tonotopic neural matrix using a counter-tonotopic neural connection architecture.
