Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose an estimation algorithm of frequency and bandwidth of formant and anti-formant, of nasalized speech using Analysis-by-Synthesis (A-b-S) thechniques of pole-zero type. In the evaluation of the algorithm using synthesized nasal speech, the estimated errors of frequency and bandwidth of formants and anti-formants are less than 25 Hz. From the analysis results, frequency of anti-formant between 1500 Hz and 2500 Hz is also important feature for natural nasal speech. In the vowel speech uttered by cleft palate patient, zeros in spectrum often appear due to the function of the soft palate.
